The first thing that stands out about Allstar Donuts is the variety. From light and fluffy raised donuts to the irresistible old-fashioned varieties, there is something for everyone. One of the standout offerings, recommended by many enthusiastic patrons, is the Apple Fritter. Described by customer Brad N. as "very good," these fritters are not only generous in size but also bursting with a delightful apple cinnamon flavor, complemented by a crisp, sweet icing exterior. At $4 each, they are an indulgent treat worth sharing—or savoring solo!
Despite some customers pointing to the prices as being on the higher side, many agree that the quality justifies the cost. David A. aptly points out that the friendly atmosphere alongside occasional complimentary donuts makes the experience even more special. The accolades for Allstar Donuts don't stop there. Grace D. acknowledges the popularity of this hidden gem, citing its frequent lines. Yet, as Francesca R. points out, this is just a testament to its desirability. The shop's occasional closures due to selling out may frustrate some, but it's a charming nod to their commitment to quality over quantity. Freshness is a core tenet here, as Lily V. highlights the perfectly fluffy raised donuts that have become favorites among early risers.
In conclusion, Allstar Donuts is not just a place to grab donuts; it’s an experience steeped in passion and community. Classic donuts, well made But you're likely sleeping on the Apple Fritters! Very good! $4 each, big!, nice light apple cinnamon flavor, crisp sweet icing exterior. Good enough for two people

The doughnuts are really good very friendly and sometime lady gives extra doughnuts 5 stars all day prices are little high but I think it worth it this Oscar hidden gem in Walnut Creek

Expensive!!! Obviously this is a first choice when it comes to donuts. But holy moly this is my second time coming here and I regret it the same as the first due to prices. $2.25 for each donut holy inflation! bought for donuts and it was $9.75. Going to Safeway or other neighboring donuts shop next time to try and save some money for some regularity baked donuts. Four stars because it's a locally owned almond pop shop, and they are very friendly, it is delicious, but is it worth the price, no! Not in my opinion anyway. I feel like for that price. I could get a good mochi donut canceled, and I might argue that Safeway donuts are just as good.

This little local place near my work is always an easy quick donut shop that I can stop by on my way to work to grab a delicious cup of coffee and sometimes a doughnut! All the pastries and donuts are all fresh and the coffee as well! it is family owned and you can tell they care for their business!

The donut holes and the glazed donuts are possibly the best I've ever had. The inside is clean and there is plenty of seating. We stopped in early and we even got a free donut! Priced well. We will for sure come again when we get the chance

The best donuts I've found so far in Walnut Creek. They usually have a line (and I've visited on different days of the week) but they have warriors decorations so that's always fun to look at until you see all the yummy donuts! They are closed on Mondays. Others may complain about them being closed randomly, but they are a small business selling donuts.. when they sell out, they close up shop. Makes sense!

The donuts are very fresh! Light fluffy raised doughnuts are my favorite and they do it well here. Small line formed for a Saturday morning. For high level of freshness they keep it simple with the popular types of raised, old fashion, and sprinkles. And just hot coffee nothing else. (No iced coffee.) No more croissant breakfast sandwiches. They're low on staff so I could see how this helps streamline what they sell. I would most definitely come back for some donut holes or a raised when I'm nearby.

An awesome small local mom&pop donut shop. Swung by for a dozen holes and left with dozen fluffy sweets. less sweet than your franchise shops
